How Many Commissioners of Deeds Were There?

The original table of following chart, although, not really that larges, seems to be too wide to show well on this page.

The intent of the table is to show the number of Commissioners of Deeds commissioned each year by the Govenor. Then there is a total for each Decade and then an Aggregrate Total.

As of this date a total for each decade and an aggregate total have not been filled in. But it is simple math should the reader wish those figures.

In addition, work on the years after 1880 have not been added. The very last Commissioner of Deeds was appoint in the 1950’s-and it was only one.

The original excel table that was copied and pasted from the researcher’s computer had a blank row between decades. When pasted to this website, the blank line row separating the decades disappeared. Also, on the original excel spreadsheet the chart was wider and the dates were horizontal rather than vertical.

So Charts apparently do not paste well in this page’s software or the researcher needs more education on how do it. The alternative is to create a new table on the software and re-imput the data. Due to time contraits, the latter option was rejected
